This company claims 100% customer satisfaction and I can say, NO WAY!. A $25 trip charge and a free estamate somehow turned into "No up front estamate" and a huge bill for replacing the capacitor. The cost for the part is $10-$40 retail and about 15 minutes to install. The technician then tells me that he would "Only" charge me $329 for the part and $25 for the trip. What? I told this guy that I don't do business this way and he can remove the Capacitor and get out of my house. After telling me that there is nothing he can do about the price except offer me a $10 discount, I told him that $100 for an hour + $50 for the part + $25 for the trip, would be more than fair for him. He ended up taking my $175 and left without giving me any kind of reciept. I still got ripped off at that price but it was less than the original $354 that he wanted. I will never again do business with Morton Heating & Cooling / MHC in Independence, Missouri.

they were always late, charged more than they quoted.did horrible work that needed to be fixed after they installed and serviced a couple times.not good company.
