      everytime I go to Longhorn and order a stead I ask that they not put the prairie dust on my steak but everytime they put it on there. Last night it was so hot after one bite my tongue felt like it was on fire, so I sent it back and get this while I set there and my friend ate her dinner while mine was being prepared again the mananger came over and gave my friend a free desert so she would not have to set there and watch me eat. I didn't expect anything but another steak but I was certainly surprised when my friend was rewarded because my steak was not prepared properly. does this sound right to you. I like longhorn but I will not be ordering steak there again. I'll order something that they don't put the prairie dust on.

      My wife and I stopped for lunch today. As we entered we were told it would be a couple of minutes before we could be seated. The restaurant was about one third full. A group of eight was also waiting and another couple came in while we were standing there. We waited about ten minutes when I asked when we would be seated. We were told it would be another ten minutes. We left as did the other couple. Maybe they were short of help or the cook quit or something but we should have at least gotten some kind of explanation. The young man at the desk just stood there at watched us leave. So much for the Longhorn!!!!

      Longhorn's The Best

      I have been going to Longhorn for many years and LOVE it!! They always have friendly staff and great food! I especially love the Flo;s Filet and Sweet Potato w/ Cinnamon and Butter. Nothing compares to Longhorn no grissel in the steak that I have ever ran acrossed and its been nearly 9 yrs of having my lunches/dinners there. The 39th st location in Independence is my home for dinning.
