This is the best sushi and shishimi place EVER. Couldn't find fresher fish anywhere. The staff is very pleasant. The owners outgoing. I love the sushi bar area. The prices are reasonable. I could eat there everyday. The very best place in all of the Kansas City metro area.

We love the food, the drinks and the service! The owners are all very outgoing. If you going for a nice dinner for a single date or doubles it's fun! Weekend birthday's are a real treat a chicken dance and song for the kids. If you have shell fish or sea food allergies, like I do, you are caterered to and cared for like you are family! As a repeat customer for 5 years, I have never bern poisoned or had bad service! We love our Kobe's!

Our experience was horrible. my girlfriend, my mother, and my self went to eat here because we wanted to try something new. After we arrived three more called to join us, we talked to the manaement to ask if this was ok (it shouldn't have been a probem because the restaurant was far from full) and the manager asked me to order for the three people who had yet to arrive. After everyone arrived the service was slow. We recieved cokes and drinks 15 min after they were orderd. The server also forgot to bring three people their salads. When the chef came he did a fine job and was very entertaining. Unfortunately though he cooked an order of ribeye for a person that ordered filet and the filet for a person that ordered ribeye. Not wanting to cause a scene or wait another fifteen minutes, we said it would be fine and ate our food though the ribeye was not good. When the bill came the manager suggested that the person who ordered the ribeye needed to pay the extra price for the filet.

I can't say enough about this place. Great food cooked right in front of you. For the sushi lover this is THEE place to go. Sit at the sushi bar and watch the great sushi chefs prepare your sushi right in front of you. Very friendly staff. I've had a great time every time I have been here and that is quite a lot of times.

Great japanese steak house. Cooks the food right at the table. Fresh sushi. Great fun for kids to watch them prepare the food at the table.
