The cake was the ONLY thing I was not happy with. She had the cake I wanted in the window. We were only changing a few key elements. Black to purple and add a row of feathers in the spacer. She was one of the more expensive bakers but we thought her quality would be worth it because her pictures and displays were so wonderful.



When I seen the cake I was embarrassed. It was not straight at all, very crooked. There were spots where the frosting did not cover the cake fully. People even brought it to my attention how much the cake was leaning and others pointed out the icing problem. There was no feather piece in the spacer. She had used the wrong color purple ribbon and finally although my cake topper had been delivered by the florist earlier it was not on the cake. I asked the coordinator to get the topper which she did and she set it on top of the cake, in less than 5 minute the topper was off in the floor. The cake was leaning so much it would not even hold the topper. I had to break a piece of the flower off to put under the topper and prop it up on one side.



For the grooms cake, we wanted a crown bottle. I took many pictures into her to show her what we wanted. She thought all were low quality and she could do better. She did not. The bottle was suppose to look real but it was yellow not brown and it was huge compared to a real bottle with no detail on the "glass" section.



I will say that at the tasting the cake was excellent however, the amount of money spent on this cake was a wasted in my opinion.
