I'm not one to go out and try to destroy someone's business and after one encounter with this company I decided not to give a bad review. But after the second time I felt like people should know. We had our furnace fixed this winter. He showed up on the wrong day he was scheduled the first time the second time he came out he quoted us $400. We scheduled time to get it fixed and he came back and changed it to $800 because they didn't have the right part. We chose to wait until the right part came in and then on the 4th time he came back and fixed it. I gave it a 2 star rating only because it did get fixed. This spring our air conditioning went out so we called them again. The guy came out on time as scheduled looked at the air conditioner for about a minute and a half and told us we needed a whole new unit and that it would be $3,500. I didn't feel good about it so I called another guy who came out looked over it tried several different things while Consulting with his boss and determined that they could fix the leak drain the remaining refrigerant and fill the new refrigerant for less than $300. I do not recommend this company.

I just had my AC serviced it had been leaking at the furnace for some reason. I looked on google and i found a web site named ermannheatingandcooling.com and i went to go look and my did it look impressive. So i saw the phone number at the top of the screen that easy enough to find. Called them up spoke with a man named john. A polite sounding gentleman and he said him and another man would be out with in the hour. They arrived with in the hour like promised and they came to the door adressed them selfs as er mann heating and cooling very professionally. They asked where the unit was and i gave them the direction and didnt have to worry about a thing. They had up front pricing and came and told me what was wrong they said i was low on refrigerant and it would be x amount of dollars i aggreed with the price and they fixed the problem and i was cool againl. thank you er mann for keeping an old man like me cool.

I am pleasantly surprised to find that a company does not shirk on its customer service like so many other HVAC corporations out there today. I did not pick ER Mann Heating & Cooling because of there amazing know how around a furnace, nor there tedious timing . It was because i know i can trust them to come into my home and know that they are going to be doing what they are supposed to be doing. Its the fact that i know that what there doing to my furnace or ac is actually going to fix the problem and that i actually need that part. That is why me Mr.craig will rely on ER Mann Heating & cooling for all my needs.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!! hello my name is Jake and i have a family of four with me and my wife and my two newborn twins. Independence local. After a week of bringing my two newborns home my furnace went out i called ER Mann Heating and Cooling after looking them up on line to see what was the closest Furnace repair shop. Mr. Ray answered the phone with astute timing as this was two in the morning when i called. He said he would be there ASAP and man was he not lying. It wasn't a half an hour later before he was here. He went down to the Furnace and with precision he knew what was wrong with it almost instantly. I think he said if i remember right that it was a hot surface igniter. He put the part in and ka boom there the beast of a furnace was working again. After he fixed it he went back out to his car and wrote up the ticket and i thought here we go a late late night call its going to be in the upwards of $400 dollars but he came in and to my surprise it was $270. E.R. Mann Heating & Cooling will always have my business.

REASONABLE CHARGES, PROMPT & POLITE SERVICE

E.R. Mann Heating and Cooling installed a new high-efficiency heating and air conditioning system and hot water tank in my house several years ago. E.R. Mann has been providing our annual routine maintenance since 1995. Service has been prompt and polite, and all systems working well. I've been pleased with the reasonable charges, and have recommended ER Mann to many people over the years. I will continue to recommend Ray and the ER Mann company in the future.

i.e., A local favorite, After moving to Lee's Summit over 12 years ago, we were needing our a/c and furnace changed out. We had ER Mann Heating and Cooling out because we had them change out the furnace and a new A/C installed in our home in Independence close to 23rd and Hardy. We have had our spring checkup calls from ER Mann for years now and have nothing but great things to say about them. I grew up on a farm close to Maryville, Missouri, and to be honest with you, I was always leery of "big city" serviceman. However, he is as trustworthy as a small town serviceman - one you can depend on and trust. I know that my mother-in-law has used his service for years. And mother-in-laws are not always easy to please!!!!or highly recommended because

We had a top of the line Trane residential system with heat pump, A/C and furnace installed by E R Mann at a cost of over $10k in the summer of 2007. 2 years later (2009), in the heat of summer, we had to stay in a hotel for several days when the system failed and had to be rebuilt. It cooled after being rebuilt, but in 2010 it needed a lb of refrigerant which indicates that the system still has a leak. I spoke with Ray, the owner about it and he was downright rude and unwilling to fix the problem. I would not recommend E R Mann for anything. Terrible customer service!
