Here is the deal. I expect chain restaurants to have cheaper prices than local restaurants and the opposite is true here. I paid more for okay food when I could have spent less and gotten better at any number of places. It wasn't horrible - it just wasn't impressive for the price point. Go with local when it comes to bbq in KC - this wasn't worth it.
