      Dr. Arthur Freeland joined Partners in Primary Care—Independence in March with 35 years’ experience in healthcare. Dr. Freeland specializes in family medicine. He has received many accolades, including recognition as Missouri Family Physician of the Year in 2015, and is a past president of the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Freeland completed medical school at the University of Missouri—Columbia and residency at the University of Missouri—Kansas City. He says that relationships with his patients are the most valued part of his job. Off duty, Dr. Freeland enjoys travel, literature, good food and music and has three adult children.
