The Ilion Police Department is a full-service, community-oriented law enforcement agency that serves and protects citizens, maintains law and order and preserves peace. The department has a communication center that responds to various emergency and nonemergency calls for police, fire and medical services. The Ilion Police Department is comprised of more than 20 sworn and nonsworn officer and dispatchers.
