Haviland Middle School is a learning center that provides educational programs to students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, math, science, social studies and technology. It also provides lessons in art, music, foreign languages and physical education. Haviland Middle School administers special education and student assistance programs. It offers speech, and occupational therapy, counseling and nursing care services. The school features a library and cafeteria and maintains drama and ski clubs and a range of bands. Haviland Middle School is a part of the Hyde Park Central School District, which governs various elementary and high schools. The district offers lessons to more than 4,500 students. The school is located in Hyde Park, N.Y.
