Located in Hyattsville, Md., DeMatha Catholic High School is a private high school for boys. The school offers a variety of academic programs, music and athletic events, community service activities and various other extracurricular activities for students. Established in 1946, it is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. DeMatha Catholic High School serves more than 1,000 students every year. The school provides a four-year program in more than 100 academic areas. It offers various courses in theology, English, world languages, mathematics, science, computer science, social studies, fine arts, and health and physical education. The school organizes several sporting activities, including football, soccer, basketball, hockey, swimming, diving, wrestling, cross country, golf and tennis.
