      Dr. Ghazwan Al-kubaisi became interested in dentistry at the age of 16 after watching a dentist fabricate and replace missing teeth for his dad. A hands-on person who enjoys meeting new people every day, Dr. Al-kubaisi loves being able to see the happiness and satisfaction on a patient’s face after a procedure. It is a rewarding feeling that he strives for each day. When it comes to treating patients, Dr. Al-Kubaisi always starts by listening to patients’ concerns and dental goals to establish a relationship and help them understand treatment recommendations for optimal oral health. In 2010, Dr. Al-kubaisi earned his bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry. He went on to earn his DDS in the United States at the University of Minnesota in 2019, graduating with high distinction. When he isn’t drilling and filling, Dr. Al-kubaisi enjoys spending time with his family, sightseeing, practicing the piano and trying very hard to be the worst tennis player in Florida. Fun facts about Dr. Al-kubaisi: • He taught himself to play the piano during the hard snowy winter days of Minnesota. • Tea is his favorite hot drink. He has about eight different favorite flavors at all times. • Favorite TV shows: Game of Thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Friends and How I Met Your Mother. • Ask him before getting a tattoo in Arabic—please don’t use Google Translate!
