Family friendly competition is alive and well thanks to the radio control drag racing league. With an emphasis on the FRIENDLY—AND the competition. The RCDRL holds races on the parking lots in hurst. TX. In NEW Orleans. LA and rancho CUCAMONGA. CA. Where competitors both young and young AT heart make passes down the 132’ scale QUARTER-MILE. Competitors USE PURPOSE-BUILT R/C drag cars. Such AS the TRAXXAS funny CAR. In the drag CAR specific classes. Or compete in the open classes with ANY other R/C vehicle. It’s a true “RUN what YOU BRUNG” event. And everyone is welcome! in addition to being a FUN. Family friendly event. An R/C drag race is a good WAY to build a relationship with hobbyists.
