Pathology Associates, also known as PA, is a laboratory that specializes in the diagnosis of anatomic and cytopathology specimens. It provides liver, sarcoma, breast, surgical and oncologic surgical pathology services. The laboratory also offers daily courier solutions and maintains an inventory of histochemical and immunoperoxidase stains. Pathology Associates provides 24-hour day consultation services. Established in 1969, it serves clients in northern Alabama. The laboratory has a staff of more than 10 individuals. Pathology Associates additionally specializes in cytopathology and clinical laboratory medicine. It is affiliated with Huntsville Hospital and the Madison Surgery Center. Pathology Associates also provides biopsy solutions.
