I cannot say enough good things about Modern Brides and all the girls up there! They're amazing! My grandmother and I have been in their store on numerous occasions, and they have always been so sweet and so helpful. I bought my prom dress, formal dress, and wedding dress from them, and I couldn't have been more pleased with anything! I literally walked into the store and walked out with my fitted wedding dress within 2 weeks with no worries or complications. Love, love, LOVE these girls and I would highly recommend them to anyone (I already do!)!

What a great staff at Modern Brides! Selena was so nice to us, and always very helpful when we'd call with questions. We never felt rushed, and the whole staff was attentive. We did try other stores before deciding on MB and have said many times amongst ourselves that we are so glad we picked Modern Brides. It's a peaceful experience - definitely not like you get at some of the bigger chain stores. Ms. Pat, the owner, did a perfect job with the alterations. They were even kind enough to let my daughter get dressed for her big day at the store so Selena could lace her up perfectly! Even with guidance we would have never gotten it to look that nice. We ordered our bridesmaids dresses from them at reasonable prices. BTW, they put on a great Bridal Show, too, in January if you're just getting started with your planning -- definitely the best of the shows in Huntsville. Highly recommend!!!

Modern Brides, Inc. Modern Brides was so GREAT to me I get emotional when I think of how sweet the owner was to me. After searching at so many places for a wedding dress Modern Brides gave me attention, advice, and worked within my budget for my wedding dress. With having Type 1 Diabetes and wearing an Insulin Pump I thought it would be impossible to wear a strap for my pump. However, Mrs. Pat made a perfect fit pouch in the top part of my dress to place my Insulin Pump. It worked out so perfect and no other bridal shop came up with such an idea. Modern Brides made me feel welcome each time I came by to check on things. And when crisis came up they worked things out. For Tux's I would recommend all men get to shop as soon as possible when Tux's come in to be sure they fit comfortable for wedding. On the day of wedding it was impossible to get a few men Tux's fixed that were too big. Overall I would recommend Modern Brides to anyone.

I went to Modern Brides after a visit to chain wedding dress store left me dissatisfied. It was great because I got to go around the store and pick out my own dresses. I can't remember how many I picked out, I got to try on every single one without feeling like I was taking too much time. The person helping me, Mallory, was extremely helpful, patient, and gave great opinions since I initially visited the store alone. Once I came back with my mom & future sister, I tried on even more dresses due to my indecisiveness. I found my dream dress day and I am so thankful for the patience of everyone those two days I visited!

I found my dress at Modern Brides after searching a few different places in North Alabama and Mississippi. I only had a few things I wanted in a dress but couldn't seem to find 1 dress with everything..until I found my dress at Modern Brides. It was everything I was looking for and more. Everyone was wonderful to work with!

We selected this store as a possible location to find bridesmaids dresses for a friend's upcoming wedding. I made an appointment and even checked online before hand and had prepared a list of the dresses that I wanted to try on that day. I entered the establishment 15 minutes prior to my appointment had to seek someone out to assist me. Once I found someone to help me, she treated me as if I was a bother to her. She took the list of dresses and proceeded to locate them while assisting 3 others customers in the store. Of the 9 dresses that I picked, they only had 4 in the store and all in sample size 8 only. Unfortunately I'm not a size 18 and the clerk could clearly see that, however she had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to try the dresses on.... she could not have been serious!! I asked her if she had any of the dresses in my size and she proceeded to tell me that we could order the dress without trying them on... who does that?? NEVER AGAIN! Avoid at all costs!!

Let me be the first to say I will never go back in this store, if it was the last formal dress shop in Huntsville. My daughter and I went and tried on prom dresses at the end of January, she found one she loved, the dress needed alterations, a couple of inches of the bottom, the dress in the back looked like it was pulled, the owner, who does the alterations as well, said it would press out and look wonderful.... needless to say, we pick up the dress today, and it did not look wonderful at all!!!!!!!!!!! and we also found two more hole is the seam, which she would have found if she had pressed the dress... We sat there 2 hours waiting for something to be done, which of course nothing was!!! I ended up paying over $400.00 for a less than perfect dress... and was told to be happy !! Please mothers of prom girls... stay away from this place, the only person who was nice was the little girl who sold us the dress, everyone else needs a lesson in customer service!!!!!!!!!!
