General Info

GDS Services conducts a variety of marine surveys, as well as offers consulting services. It undertakes prepurchase and insurance surveys. The company is also responsible for appraisal inspection and damage investigation. GDS Services serves northern Alabama, eastern Mississippi, southern Kentucky and western Georgia. It is a member of the American Boat and Yacht Council, National Fire Protection Association, Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, and Charles F. Chapman School of Seamanship.
