      Smart Start ELC offers quality childcare for children 6wks-12 years old. We are a certified preschool for ages 2, 3, 4, and 5. We use the Houghton Mifflin Preschool curriculum, which is currently used by Calvert County Public Schools. Our educational administrator is a Certificated Teacher liscensed by Maryland State Department of Education. Smart Start is in the process of accredidation through MSDE. Accredidation is rigorous program evaluation that provides much better care than required by the basic standards of the Office of Child Care. We offer job specific discounts for military, teachers, police and firefighters. Please drop in for a tour or call for information.
