Calverton School is a college preparatory, day school located in Huntingtown, Md. It comprises lower, middle and upper school divisions and enrolls more than 400 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, history, chemistry, biology, physics and world languages, including Latin, French and Spanish. It offers various sports that include golf, lacrosse, tennis, soccer, basketball, field hockey and cross country. The school has been serving Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's, Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties in Maryland since 1967. It is approved by the National Association of Independent Schools, the Association of Independent Maryland Schools and the Maryland State Department of Education.
