Founded in 1885, the Huntington YMCA is a charitable association that offers programs and services to children, families and communities in Huntington, W.Va. It operates May Building, Kennedy Center and Huntington High School. The Huntington YMCA provides aerobic, massage therapy, swimming and group fitness classes. The organization offers spring and fall youth soccer league with more than 2,000 annual participants. It supports several sports activities, such as tennis, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, rugby, softball, golf, volleyball, kickball and flag football. In addition, the Huntington YMCA organizes challenge and baseball camps. The organization runs a child care program that helps to develop physical skills through teaching and coaching.
