This place was reccomended to me by a family member. I started going there in 2009. The Russian ladies working there do a great job, but the owner, Janet really takes away from the positive experience. I have been going there for 3 years, 8-10 week intervals, and $50 a visit. I brought my pooch in today and she foget I had an appointment, and when she went to get my pet card, she told me I had a no show in 2009( 3 years ago), and that there was a recent no show a few months ago. I don't remember this, but I'm only human. Just like she forgot to note my appointment maybe I forgot I had an appointment. She insisted I pay a $20 fee, and wouldn't budge. I turned around and left. My dog has been going there since birth, and she just lost many more years of business She never told me about this policy for 3 years of coming there, and just decided to spring it up on me. Instead of giving a discount for being a repeat loyal customer, she makes it seem like she's doing you a favor. If you can put up with the owner go there, but there are plenty of other great places that will appreciate your business.

Yes, it's not easy to find a good cat grooming salon, but Janette's Furry Friends does a lovely job. Our kitty has medium long fur and can get knots during the spring shedding season. We drop her off and pick her up a couple of hours later all soft, clean and sweet smelling, sans knots. They're so kind and gentle to the animals...er furry friends, I rest assured she'll be treated well during her visit. I think the only way they could improve on their service would be to offer weekend hours, but everybody diserves some time for themselves so this isn't really a complaint. I'm happy to have them at all. Thanks so much.
