I went to Fabulous Frocks last Saturday as the first of four bridal appointments that day. I was with my mom, who came in for the weekend from out of town, so I was really hoping that we could nail down some options for the dress to ultimately purchase. Fabulous Frocks is a consignment bridal store that carries both bridal and bridesmaid dresses. They sell once-worn and off the rack designer gowns sent in from either designers or other local boutiques. Because of their concept, they're able to offer great quality dresses at discounted prices. I worked with Amanda that day and she was very helpful. After trying on a few dresses, she pulled a few more after noting the elements that I liked. With each dress, she pointed out the details of the dress, including any imperfections, and helped me picture what it would look like bustled, etc. which all helped me make my decision. I ended up finding the one - it was the first one I tried and kept going back to :) - and cancelled the rest of my day so I could spend it doing other fun things with my mom. I had a great experience at Fabulous Frocks and would recommend anyone in the bridal market to take a look here before making their final decision.

Amanda made our experience at Fabulous Frocks very special. First, the store itself had such a wide variety of gowns. Second, we were the only ones in the store and Amanda let us look around and select gowns at our own pace. Once she saw what I was looking for she suggested a gown that I had previously overlooked. I fell in love with the dress! Amanda gave me plenty of time to think about my decision without being pushy. Overall the experience was a lot of fun. I highly suggest Fabulous Frocks to all new brides out there!

Amanda is a joy to work with at the Huntersville location. She is professional, fun and makes the experience one to remember. Her shop is beautiful and her attention to detail during your appointment is wonderful. 5 starts for sure!! I will recommend her to any newly engaged lady.

Amanda with Fabulous Frocks was just wonderful. Our appointment was easy and comfortable. This was the first bridal store I visited and definitely the best of the 4 we went to. I ended up coming back the very next day to purchase the very first dress I had tried on there! :) Great prices for gorgeous, high quality dresses. I LOVED that I got to walk out with dress in hand! Even though the store is fairly small, they have so many different dresses to try on. My 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and I all had a great experience at Fabulous Frocks! I had visited almost every bridal boutique in Charlotte and this place was amazing! I was being so indecisive and Sierra was the sweetest! She gave me her honest opinion about the dresses and made the experience fabulous! I ended up finding my dream dress here and it was $1,000 off retail!!! Seriously the best!

Fabulous Frocks was my third stop the very first day of shopping. I thought I had decided on a dress earlier in the day but walked away to sleep on it. After putting on a Madison James gown at FF I couldn't just walk away. That was my dress and I said YES! The ladies there were amazing and so helpful. I didn't feel rushed at all. I would highly recommend FF for those looking for quality gowns at very reasonable prices.

Found my dress so it was obviously an amazing experience. I walked in, Sierra asked what I love and I showed her pics. She held up a dress and asked if I was interested but like all the other 25 dresses I thought "sure why not".. but when I tried it on it was "the one". (Plus they are budget friendly). And I am a VERY indecisive person. It's like she knew me and my personality perfectly! I am so excited for my wedding day !

I found my dress here. The staff was friendly and super helpful. They gave us colored clothespins to mark dresses we liked.
It's a small store. There was only one other bride in the store at the same time. Call them to make an appointment. We didn't feel rushed at all. I was coming off an upper respiratory infection, and took constant breaks from trying on dresses to sip tea from a thermos.
This place sells old sample dresses for a fraction of the original price. My dress had a large makeup stain on the inside, but I didn't care since no one would see it. I walked out with the dress that day. No waiting on an ordered dress. :)
The only downside was increased costs with alterations. My dress was 2 sizes too big instead of half a size (like an ordered dress would have been). Fabulous Frocks uses John and Emily Alterations in Dilworth. They did a fantastic job with getting the fit right. It just took a little more work.
