We have done business with The Fire Box a couple of times over the years and have always been amazed by their knowledge and service. We will continue to do business with them in the future. We love the fact that they are locally owned and still have small town customer service.
I have had them do a couple of repairs. The repairmen seem to be knowledge enough and did a good job. There is an older gentleman that works in the store. I've dealt with him several times. He appears to be the manager but I'm not sure. He is extremely ornry and very difficult to do business with. No tact or manners. I would suggest finding someone else to do business with and will do so in the future.
The installation of a gas grill purchased from this company was a disaster - unprofessional, inadequate and clumsy. Probably more irritating was the attitude of the clerk inside the store after being told of the situation. Will not be going back to the Firebox.
Great people did a layaway program and worked well. Friendly staff and knowledgable!
We took our broken fireplace logs into the store to buy a new thermostat. We were at our wits end with a set that just wouldn't work. Instead of selling us a new, more expensive set, the saelsman looked at ours and told us just what to do to make it work. Awesome!!! After 3 years of frustration, they are working like a charm with a can of compressed air and a change of thermostat position. You can be sure we will be back when we need anything else for the fireplace or grill. Thanks again, Lloyd and Ruth
