General Info: Washington County Head Start Early Head Start and Child Care Programs provides a variety of programs to more than 300 children and is located in Hudson Falls, N.Y. It provides educational classes to children in a wide range of subjects, such as reading, writing, math, and language and literacy skills. It also provides health and nutrition services that include early screening and assessments, and health and nutrition education. It has a transportation department that includes a fleet of more than 10 buses and over 20 vans and provides services to approximately 250 children. It is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services and is operated by the Washington County Economic Opportunity Council.
