Last Memorial Day weekend Vergi Animal Hospital literally saved my mini-Schnauzer Rex's life. He had been at my son's place and had been vomiting and had diarrhea for a couple of days. My son brought him home and we both thought he was getting better and felt he just ate something outside. Little did we know that it was just the beginning of a nightmare. I woke up the next morning and little Rex started vomiting with blood and had bloody diarrhea. I rushed him to the Vergi hospital and by the time we got there, he was so sick they couldn't even get a pulse from him. I really thought my Rex might die. The staff was so helpful and immediately attended to him. He was diagnosed with hemmoragic gastroenteritis. Their quick response and medical knowledge was impeccable. I would highly recommend them. Remember though, not every animal can be saved unfortunately and blame has to be placed somewhere. It's what people do when you lose a loved one. All the vets saved my Rex's life. THANK YOU!

It hurts me to see a bad review written about Dr. Noaker and VERGI. I've used VERGI services for numerous dogs over 11 years and have had excellent results each and every time. Dr. Noaker is THE most compassionate, caring vet there is. The staff is wonderful and, mainly, they are there for us in our times of need. Marcella Pringle

My review was cut off so I am continuing.- I denied over night tubing since I have a handler that has been doing it for 42 years. Two hours later I ask to see my pup and they were just starting an IV without success. My pup was gasping and shaking. I asked the vet for the 2nd time if she gave the pup a fluid injection and she said no. They held my pup for over 2 hours and did nothing and choose IV at the last minute. My pup died.

I took my 3 day old puppy in because he was dehydrated. He was obviously dehydrated since he was not suckling his mothers milk. Mind you, I am a nurse so even though I don't know much about dogs I know how lab results tie together. I also do not need a lab test to tell me my puppy is dehydrated or that the blood sugar is too low or that the ammonia level is too high. They all go hand in hand. If the puppy does not eat, he will definitely be dehydrated and have low blood sugar. If he is dehydrated, he will not be able to excrete urine or fecal matter properly. If he can not properly evacuate, he will have high ammonia levels. I waited over an hour for the vet to tell me that my puppy is dehydrated. Yes, I knew this....that's why I wrote it down on the papers as his health concern. I asked the vet if she re-hydrated him and she replied, "eh, his prognosis is guarded" She suggested lab work and mentioned that they were heating up milk at the moment. She suggested over night tube feeding

Found a stray poodle soaked in rain water and left for dead. No food or anything, crying and shivering. We found this place in the yellow pages and they took really good care of him. We wanted to keep him so decided to pay for any medical attention. They gladly took him in at 3am in the morning, bathed him, cut his hair and fed him. They told us it would be anywhere from $150 - $450. We really didnt want to spend that much but felt bad for the dog. They said they would keep it as low as possible by doing the bare minimun of getting him back to good health. After having him for 24hrs we barely paid $100 for all their care. This place was great. They Vets really care for the animals. I give them 5stars cuz i dont see how they could have done any better. Simply SUPERB Service!!

Don't go to this clinic unless you have no other choice and you have the patience of a saint. I was the only person there, yet it took 2 hours. One and a half of those hours were spent after my dog was diagnosed, and returned to me. I have diabetes, which the staff knew, and I was getting lightheaded and dizzy and it was 4:00 in the morning, and I asked 3 times for help and if I could please pay and leave because I was getting sick, and they did nothing. Three times. The fourth time, I will admit, I lost my temper, probably due to blood sugar levels, for which I apologized and they just got nastier and made me wait an additional half hour. They needed an hour and a half to put some pills in 2 bottles and run my mastercard. I barely made it home without passing out and was sick for the entire next day. As far as how their treatment of my dog was concerned, I give them one star for being pretty good. But they lose four stars due to their lack of concern for me, even knowing I was sick.
