Founded in 1999, SnapStream Media is a leading developer of digital entertainment products for the personal computer. All of its products are designed with the living room in mind, with interfaces that are easy-to-see and navigate from afar. SnapStream Media s products include Beyond Media, a DVD, music, photos and video playback and management application; Beyond TV, a DVR software that was recently named Best of 2004 in PC Magazine; and the Firefly PC Remote. Originally offering its products exclusively online, the company has expanded its business focus to include retail, original equipment manufacturer and system builder channels. SnapStream Media is privately held and based in Houston.
