Lovely setting. Atmosphere is awesome. HOWEVER, I went in for a mani and expressed what I wanted. The manicurist TOLD ME what I'd be getting and what she wasn't going to do. The second thing the manicurist did was load me down with anti-bacterial cleanser. She put it all over my arms just like lotion. I was TICKED OFF! All I could say was, What the H-LL??? Seeing that it was my 3rd visit and the fact that I had considered leaving my old nail shop of 15 years for them, I couldn't believe it. I'd just showered and to add insult to injury, the bacterial liquid smelled horrible! Instead of admitting that the manicurist was a flake, the owner found a way to justify an anti-bacterial arm bath. There is no flexibility with them. You have to know exactly what you want before arriving. Heaven forbid if you find a more expensive service you'd like to purchase. They will not let you change. Would I tell a friend? Slim Chance

My daughter in law was looking for a Spa and we were lucky enough to find Rumor Has IT on Taylor. She got a pedicure and also had eye lashes attached. I was so impressed with what she had to say I went back and got a pedicure, a manicure and got eye lashes attached. The people who work there are charming, the decor of the shop is subdued and quiet. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the services very much.I plan on returning as soon as my pedicure begins to wear out. Love it!

I've been searching for a place to do some fun nail arts in the Heights. I went in to get a regular refill and pedicure done. I was so happy that the girl who did my nails was so crazy. She turned my ordinary french into a fun stylish set that was still professional enough to go to work. I'm so in love I can hardly stop looking at them. She was also very informative about all the latest trend, I'm sure to try minx next time.

I went to this nail spa for the first time with my daughter for her first manicure, and the experience was very good. The employees were very nice and made my daughters first experience very enjoyable!! The manicurist that did my nails did a fantastic job on my nails and listened to what i was wanting for my nails. i would return for another manicure.

Rumor Has It is conveniently located in the plaza of my local Target, making it the obvious new choice for my nails. I was pleased when I walked in and was instantly greeted, filled out a card about my preferences, and asked if I would like a drink... all pluses. However, the mani went downhill from there. The "basic" mani is $20, which is fine if it's done well. It was not. My cuticles could have used a bit more attention, especially on one nail where it was hardly pushed back, making the nail look short and strange. The hand/arm massage was brief and lacking. I had to ask for a second coat of color because the manicurist thought just one streaky coat was good. The manicurist also did not swipe my nails with polish remover after putting lotion on my hands and put the top coat on haphazardly, missing some spots, which of course led to the immediate peeling of the polish. I had to remove the color the next day. I can spend $15 and get a superior manicure elsewhere. Will not return.
