Roberts Elementary School is a learning center that is a part of the Houston Independent School District, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States. The district operates more than 285 educational institutions with a combined enrollment of over 202,000 students. Located in Houston, Roberts Elementary School provides academic services to nearly 640 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. The school employs a staff of approximately 40 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals. It conducts educational classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, writing, spelling, math, science, social studies, art, music, computer applications, and health and physical education. Roberts Elementary School also offers special classes in gifted and talented education and the English as a Second Language program.
