Pauline A. Filipek, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric neurologist specializing in neurological conditions. She treats patients from infancy with a focus on younger children. Her practice philosophy centers on listening to parents’ concerns and empowering them to help a child with autism spectrum and other developmental disorders. Her practice follows all patients after diagnosis, advocating for the best and most appropriate interventions and services. In practice since 1986, Filipek has been recognized with the Regional Center of Orange County, California, SPOTLIGHT Award for outstanding service to people with developmental disabilities. She’s a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
