- Dental SealantsBy age six or seven, children should be able to brush their own teeth twice a day but often require supervision until about age 10 or 11, to make sure they are doing a thorough job. Ask the dentist about dental sealants, a protective plastic coating that can be applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth where decay often starts.
- Fillings
- Resin CompositeComposite resins are tooth-colored fillings. Our dentist may use them on your front teeth, where appearance is important.
- CrownsA dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth — to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.

- Root Canal TreatmentEndodontics is the branch of dentistry concerning dental pulp and tissues surrounding the roots of a tooth. Endodontic treatment, or root canal treatment, treats the soft pulp tissue inside the tooth. A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.
- DenturesA denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available — complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
- Dental ImplantsDental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap — these two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth — and a false tooth/teeth in between. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges can be supported by natural teeth or implants.

- Teeth WhiteningMany people turn to teeth whitening products or procedures to get rid of tooth stains (coffee, sodas, smoking, tea, wine…). Trays, toothpastes, gels, and laser treatments are some of the methods of teeth whitening that are available. Results vary, based on the severity of the stains and the type of treatment you choose. Our dentist can help you determine which whitening system will work best for you.
