I took my vehicle in to have them look for a crack on the exhaust system counterweight. While I was there I also asked them to do an oil change. While I waited and was "talked up" by the service person at the counter apparently they decided they needed to look for something that would add up to a large repair bill. I was told my vehicle needed $800-$1200 in repairs. This was decided without the mechanic ever taking the vehicle for a test drive and the one part that would have cost $800 to replace had been replaced less than 2 years before and showed no wear, only fluid that had leaked on the part when they were filling the oil. I drove it an out of town mechanic who happened to be a friend of mine and let him check it out. There was NOTHING wrong with either of the items they tried telling me I needed replaced. This shop is either employing dunces as mechanics or they are attempting to scam their customers. Don't waste your time or money to figure this one out.
