Courtney’s higher education includes a B.S. in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University in 1998 and a J.D. from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2001, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. Upon graduation, Courtney first worked as an associate at a construction litigation firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and later accepted a position working for a criminal district court judge in Baton Rouge. Courtney relocated to Houston in 2003 and again practiced construction litigation and family law, until she found her niche in real estate law as a closing attorney. She enjoys interacting with clients and tackling new challenges on a daily basis.

However, the following criteria must be met: (1) the form must be reviewed and approved by underwriting counsel; (2) we must have the original form to record in the public records; and (3) we must be able to speak with the person granting the power of attorney, unless he/she is incapacitated.
