I've lived in Houston for 17 years, (mostly in NW) and out of all the Auto Repair shops I have been to during these years, I have only come across 2 that seem to care about your auto concerns (the other shop -not affiliated with this one -is in southwest Houston) I had heard only good things, from friends, about Kay's Automotive, so I decided to bring my F-150 in, after Firestone has failed me on several occasions! The Owner knew "immediately" what the issue was and had my 2005 Ford F150 truck repaired within an hour and 1/2, while I waited. Great Customer Service-very genuine! I will definitely return and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! Very Satisfied -My Ford still drives like a dream!****Wilma ****

Whenever my car needs service, I go to Kay's. They do quality work for an affordable price...and they are extremely trustworthy. I consider them a neighbor and friends because of the years of continued good service. I have an older SUV and thing needs work...as all old cars do. But I know Philip and his team will find out the problem and let me know what to expect, ahead of time for the fees and work to be done. He even lets me know things I can live with that don't need immediate work and those things that are necessary for the car to work. And this is my work horse so they know how much I depend on it. Now Philip is talking me into buying a new car even though he knows he'll lose business from me. I also know that if I have a problem with their service, all I need to do is talk to them and it will be explained and or solved. They are an honest service that I feel comfortable referring people to.

Not sure how all these people could be so happy with the work done at Kay's, my daughter took her car to get the oil changed about a year ago and they forgot to put the cap back on and some of the oil came out while she drove to school.. Then she took the car for a reck repair back in April and we are still trying to get them to finish the repair right today 9-12-12

i.e., A local favorI recently used Kays to replace my cracked radiator, and I must say that they were excellent. I used to deliver parts for them and I noticed how kind they were so I decided to give them a chance. i am glad I did David was excellent and my service was completed in 2 days. They also offered to stay late for me when it came for me to pick my car up! I will always recommend their service.ite, or highly recommended because

Kay's Automotive has always given me very efficient quality service without a problem. But when I questioned a part charge that I thought excessive, they truly showed their character. The mistake was recognized and I received a satisfactory refund for the price difference and bother. Few repair shops would own up to the error in cost that I approved in advance and make a fast refund on something already paid in full. It shows great integrity, fairness and remarkable customer service. My neighbors and I use and recommend them wholeheartedly!

Wow! I'm a customer for life! Kay's was the 3d place I took my car to, knowing I needed numerous problems addressed on my 2002 Dodge Stratus. They came in significantly lower than the other two, despite having another repair recommended. What really impressed me is that once they got inside the engine, they discovered one of the recommended repairs wasn't needed, just a cleaning of the part. How many places would go ahead and replace it anyway since the customer already approved it just to make an extra buck? Had to bring it back for some continued issues, and Phillip worked so hard to make sure I was completely happy. I've been in Houston over 25 years, and I finally found a mechanic I trust. Kay's went above and beyond to get my car back into shape. I was very very impressed with Kay's, and if I ever need more work on any vehicle, this is where I'm taking it. Fair, reasonable, honest - again, wow! Thanks Kay's!

We had a problem with the air conditioner on our 98 corvette and the dealer told us a big long horror story about how expensive it was going to be to repair. We took the car to Kay's and they diagnosed the problem as a vacuum leak due to its location being under the battery tray. Fixed the problem in a couple of hours and the repair bill was significantly less than the dealer quoted us! We now take all three of our vehicles strictly to Kay's. Highly recommended!!!!!

My wife's Trailblazer's check engine light came on and began running rough, so I called Kay's for advise. They said there is NO CHARGE for running a scan on the engine's computer. My wife brought her car in late in the afternoon, they evaluated the problem, called me back, and was able the complete the necessary repairs that evening at a very fair price. This was great because her car needed an inspection sticker (would not pass with the check engine light on). I was very impressed with their explainations, quality of service, and pricing.

I have been going to Kays Automotive for the last 3 years..they are by far the fairest ppl I have ever met, they dont try to overcharge you for work and they are overall good ppl.I would recommend them to anyone

Have been to Philips serveral times. Always pretty much dropped what he was doing to fix my old pontiac. Seems to be knowledgable and friendly. He is my first call when something is amiss with our cars...
