Dr. Hope Northrup is a Professor and Director of the Division of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Northrup sees patients of all ages with a genetic or suspected genetic condition. She is devoted to providing the best care possible to patients and families. Dr. Northrup is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG). She has been recognized by Castle Connolly as one of the Best Doctors in America. She has also received the Texas Super Doctors award several times and the UT Regents Outstanding Teaching Award (ROTA) in 2016. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Northrup enjoys spending time outdoors.
