Hiral P. Patel, MD, is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and fellowship-trained in chronic pain management. Her areas of expertise include the management of cancer and noncancer pain. When possible, she does in-office epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, which can help patients feel better faster without going to a hospital or surgery center. A native Houstonian, Patel received her medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine. She completed residency training in anesthesiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She followed this with a fellowship in chronic pain management at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
