U.S. Zinc also operates Interamerican Zinc, which utilizes a patented process to recycle continuous galvanizing zinc drosses. U.S. Zinc is a part of Aleris International, a global company in aluminum- rolled products and extrusions, aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. It operates more than 50 production facilities in North America, Europe, South America and Asia and employs over 8,500 people.
