Emmott Elementary School features enrichment activities, such as student clubs, tutorial sessions, cultural arts programs, academic competitions and field trips. The school s staff includes counselors, nurses, diagnosticians, speech and language clinicians, reading specialists and certified teachers. It has a certified library media specialist that directs the learning resource center, which houses supplemental multimedia materials and a variety of recreational and informational reading selections. The school s core curriculum includes reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, technology applications, health, physical education, art, music and theater arts. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 850 students in prekindergarten through grade five.
