Founded in 1975, Elsik High School is a part of the Alief Independent School District, and is located in Houston. The school has a range of departments, such as English, mathematics, science and social studies. Additionally, it offers classes in business, and career and technology education. The school also offers classes in performing arts, and health and physical education. The foreign language department offers classes in various languages, including French, Spanish, German and Latin. The library provides resources, such as books, catalogs, and magazines and newspapers and Internet access. The school s athletics department offers a variety of sports activities that include basketball, football, soccer, tennis and baseball.
