Dr. Guez is extremely perceptive and excellent at evaluating people. Dr. Guez is very good with children. She was extremely concerned about the well-being of my son. Dr. Guez figured out that my ex always had an agenda, when she brought our child in for a weekly session. Dr. Guez was very compassionate about getting me time with my son during the reunification therapy. Dr Guez would give us ideas about what we could do on our weekend visits, and then planned those activities with us. Dr. Guez also found ways to engage with my son, like showing him videos of a kid doing tricks on his mountain bike. Dr. Guez is a wonderful person. But, most importantly, she is very good at being a psychologist. The family court trusts and respects her professional opinion.

For all those bad reviews of Dr. Guez, let me leave you with this final thought. My ex called Dr. Guez a “bought psychologist” and accused her of siding with me because I paid for most of the sessions. My ex also threatened to report Dr. Guez to the state board and get her medical license revoked. Why did this happen? Because Dr. Guez exposed my ex for what she did to my son and I.

I highly recommend Dr. Jean Guez. She is a very good person, and I’m going to miss her. I just hope this review reaches the parents who have been placed in reunification therapy with Dr. Guez. The truth is that my son and I didn’t need reunification therapy. My son needed to be back with me, where he felt safe. After attending a few sessions together with Dr. Guez, we were back to normal – like we were before we both went through 7 months of parental alienation caused by his mother. Unfortunately, the family court requires reunification therapy if a parent has been absent in a child’s life for more than a few months. My son is a completely different kid since I got expanded visitation back in January 2020. He had one of the best summers this year, and was super happy when I won in court this August.

She ignores verbal abuse!

She completely ignored every account of verbal abuse shared with her against a very verbally abusive husband. She actually ignored the fact that he has repeatedly threatened to kill his father, brother and co-workers, not to mention wife with threatening her with never seeing her son again. I think the fact that the husband is a paralegal for a Houston law firm has blinded her to the threat his family faces from him! His own son is too afraid to speak up for himself because he was threatened by his dad!

Jean Guez: Unethical

Jean Guez is unethical. She wrote statements about me without even having ever met me or had any contact with me. She did this I suspect to peddle herself to Justice for Children, (a group which happens to be sexist, gender biased against men and which rejects the existence of Parental Alienation), trying to suck up to them for business.
