Astro provides mechanical testing and stress analysis support to the oil and gas, aerospace and civil engineering. Its services include deepwater production and drilling riser monitoring, flow assurance measurements, subsea smart Field measurements and control systems for subsea pipelines, liquefied natural gas pipeline monitoring, fiber-optic strain, temperature, pressure sensors, vibration and fatigue. Other services include solid rocket motor demilitarization for counter proliferation of weapons of mass destruction; testing and analysis of solid rocket motors, including propellant measurements of pressure, strain, temperature and aging analysis; and instrumentation of robots used on board space shuttles and space stations.
