Located in Hope, Maine, Hope Elementary School is a part of School Union 69. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, language arts, science, social studies, music, physical education, French and art. It conducts a variety of cocurricular activities, such as open houses, conservation fairs and craft shows. Hope Elementary School also participates in various sports programs that include basketball, baseball, soccer, wrestling and softball. In addition, it provides special education programs for students with special needs. The school has a student council that promotes participation in several fundraising activities and events. Hope Elementary School publishes a weekly newsletter, The Greensheet, which offers the latest information on school events.
