Came back for issues I had with them doing an alignment on my truck. It pulled to the right and left which also vibrated on the highway. The guy told me when I came to do my first alignment there was an issue with their alignment machine,(they had no intentions telling me the first time) so he said he used a different machine this time. He told everything should drive perfect now. Test drove it, it was PITIFUL! Worst than the first time they did the alignment... Never going back!

It is a shame that there is not an option for zero stars. I was assisting my son-in-laws today by taking his car to the shop as it would not start. The battery was 4 years old to the month thus we had a pretty good suspicion as to the issue. I wanted it confirmed for him as his experience with automobile repair is pretty limited.

NTB sales person was very friendly. I stated that i am not a car expert but we wanted the battery checked and probably replaced as the car had to be jumped to get it started for the ride to the shop. In truth i am fairly knowledgeable about cars but wanted them to do the proper diagnostic procedures vs taking my word.

I waited 15 minutes as they ran some test. The sales person came to see me and did not want to talk in front of the other customers. He actually took me from the lounge, thru the showroom back to the garage area. He said nothing until the door was closed. At this point he confirmed that the battery was indeed bad. Then he continues to tell me that the reason for the bad battery is that the starter is pulling to much power thus draining the battery. Now he produces a $500+ repair bill and says that they can start immediately (no wonder as there were only 2 other customers in the place). As it was not my car i told him i would need to get back to him. They bring my car around to the front for me.

I hop in the car and drive over to the local ford dealer. I ask them to test the battery because we had a hard start this morning. They pull out a piece of equipment and run a diagnostic procedure in front of me. The results are simple - battery is bad. I ask them if they also tested the starter. They had not SO they rerun the battery and starter test in front of me. The battery is still bad but there is nothing wrong with the starter. They run it a second time with another testing unit just to prove to me that everything is consistent. I then told them why i was concerned with the starter and showed them the repair estimate. They said a few choice phrases and ended with "this is why you should use the dealer services vs a ******* company like them".

I tell them that I will have the car owner will call to schedule a meeting when he was available to get a new battery.

Final step... I start to drive home and stop at Advance Auto to get a 3rd opinion... They validate what the dealership told me. When i asked them to test the starter again they did. It was fine. They asked why i thought it was the starter so I produced the paperwork from NTB and showed it to them. After they finished laughing they said that they were not surprised nor were we the first people to have this issue this month!

I was more than a bit annoyed thus I called NTB to have a discussion with the manager. He was informed that i would be posting very negative feedback as well as contacting the BBB. Pushing for additional services is expected. Outright fraud is another... I can only hope that this is an isolated event to a single sales person. If the manager chooses to release the sales person that committed this act is his decision. All i can do is help others go into this establishment with open eyes...

I went into to inquire about a brake job. I had a competitors coupon from Firestone, on Montgomery Highway, who I have used before. The cost was $99.99 plus tax and 6% parts charge which was all mentioned up. When I went to NTB I asked do you expect competitors coupons and they said yes. They took the car in and the called and said the job would be over $200. I asked them about the competitors coupon and they said they didn't stock semi-metallic pads and that they only carried ceramic. I said $110 for brakes pads and after bickering around for a while he said he had ceramic pads for $79 but they were not as good. They then told me they still couldn't match the competitor because they were not given ceramic brake pads. Then the car needed rotors and they quoted me $110 per rotor and they only costs at AutoZone $69 but I understand the mark up but not 100%. The agreed to discount those down to $99. I agreed to the work. When I went to pick up the car the was an additional $35 shop fee and when asked about that they said every shop charges a shop fee. I never heard of it. The next day I called my Firestone shop and they told me that they would replace the brake pads for $99 to the same manufactures specs which were ceramic. I went to Firestone and believe me when I tell you the bill came to $107, pads plus tax and they were ceramic pads, I have the box. I went to NTB and demanded a refund and gave them back their pads. The savings was close to $100. I to worked with the over weight dude with the beard and was taken advantage of and lied to as they told me they would match the competitor and they didn't as well as telling me every place has a shop charge. Don't use them as they lie to you and will charge for things that another shop doesn't. Use Firestone on Montgomery. They are very courteous and respectful and will give you a complete estimate of all the costs, in writing, before they start the work.

Don't. even. think about it. I spent the whole day with my brother, practically stranded in Hoover, with his car. I was not in the mood. Today, Saturday December 6, 2014, we went to NTB because of an emergency tire replacement, of Pirelli P225/55R18's on the front end, from a misalignment - wires showing through the side walls. They were the ONLY place in Birmingham that had the tires, and the cheapest on the tires themselves.

Why am I mad? Mostly attitude, but that attitude makes me think maybe they weren't very straightforward, and possibly dishonest.

First reason is they tell us the reason the front right tire was out of alignment was all four tire's struts were leaking. "Service Advisor" they said. What doesn't make sense is why only the front end had alignment issues.

Because they were not too courteous. They were jocular. The fat guy with the beard instead of just sticking to the facts. The attitude of this dude was "Haha you're screwed without us!" He first said something that was a smart alec remark, which I responded to by saying "You can fix it if you'll do it for free." He then responded trying to push a 12 month no interest credit promo on my brother as well, in a very disrespectful tone... He was also throwing paper airplanes around, whispering and joking about "complainers" in front of all of us customers in the lobby (which included a couple of younger ladies around our age or younger). No class. If ONLY Tire Engineers had these tires, I would have led my brother to leave.

The total bill for two tires, road hazard, was $397 for a Ford Five-Hundred, 2007 model.

Simply put, you do NOT disrespect my younger brother in front of me. He's going through enough as it is, and while he's an adult and can handle his own self, when I see wrong, I don't let it go unchallenged. If it had been "that's the price" and left it at that, chances are, I'd not have rated this a one-star.

After getting home, I also see a TON of OTHER one-star reviews, which tells me, that this is a place that's known to not be that great. It was interesting, as I didn't see a single customer in that place with a smile on their face. People are not delighted to be disrespected.

What is missing in business today is, humanity. Human needs are so easy to take care of, but is often the least cared for need in retail and customer service. For a big shiny retail logo and image, there is a lack of substance.

Do not go here. They broke my 2006 Sequioa Center hub cap and have still yet to replace it. I've made 5 trips up there, yelling at the manager and they could care less. The District Manager won't even return my calls. They will tear your car up and not fix anything they do.

Took my Pathfinder in for NTB ...

Took my Pathfinder in for NTB Galleria to replaces bolts broken by NTB Alabaster, these bolts hold up splash guard. NTB Galleria didnt replace bolts, they drilled hole in splash guard and used one zip tie to hold up splash guard.

Would not recommend this location. Certain staff members were very rude and unconcerned with customer. Individuals will lie in regards to their coworkers to support their statments, had to contact upper management to address issues. Also, placed my air filter incorrectly in my vehicle. Would not trust this company with my car. If they are willing to lie and cover for their co-workers, what else would they be willing to cut corners.
