Incorporated as a nonprofit entity in 1989, Steadfast Housing Development Corporation provides a range of housing and employment options throughout the state of Hawaii to adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. The business s programs are funded by the state and federal government and serve more than 1,100 persons annually. Each of the programs is designed to provide skills training and support. Among the company s offerings are semi-independent group-home programs, group-home programs, housing support, subsidy programs and mainstream programs. Steadfast Housing Development Corporation is headquartered in Honolulu and maintains offices in Wailuku, Kapaa, Hilo and Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
