Ok, NOW I CAN GIVE MY RATING! WENT THERE AT 0815 HRS, HAD 3 MICRONESIAN GUYS & 2 MICRONESIAN GIRLS-WERE FRIENDLY & GAVE ME NO PROBLEMS! dID EXACTLY WHAT i TOLD THEM WITHOUT PUSHING ME TO BUY MORE TIRES! SAVED $50 VS LEX bRODIES & CHOICE TIRE ON SHERIDAN STREET.

i have read the negative review and am totally surprised. We have used Discount Tire for years and have only received OUTSTANDING service. They are quick, reasonably priced and HONEST in the appraisal of the state of one's tires. We totally trust Clarence and the way that he cares for his clients and the amazing opportunities he affords the young men, to and for whom he provides employment. We know that even when we send our young-adult daughter to Clarence for tires that he will sell her those that are appropriate to her pocket-book --- he knows his tires and he serves his clients well. He's also quick and always courteous. i have recommended him to others and they receive the same kind of outstanding service that we have experienced for decades.

Horrible Customer Service!! I went to to buy new tires for my custom VW Bus. I pull into the shop and the mechanic jacks up my bus and begins working, then the manager came out yelling... "STOP! That car is illegal!" So I get my title, registration paperwork from Honolulu DoT showing my car is legal and classified as a Street Rod . I also gave them the phone number to RECON so they could verify with DoT that it was legal. After about 10 minutes, they verified it was legit and that it was ok so the mechanic began working on my tires again. After pulling one of the wheels off, he couldn t figure out how to get my hubs off the rim, so the manager came over and ordered me, "you do it!" . I thought he was joking, as I was thinking, what am I paying them for? I was standing there in my board shorts and slippas...I said, "you really want me to do it?" He said, "you give me attitude, get out of my shop!" I told him all I want is tires. He told me to leave and refused to sell me the tires.
