One of the best craftsmen in the business!

A very gifted craftsmen, he takes great pride in his work. The quality of his instruments is second to none!

A few years ago I happened to attend an outdoor concert at the Waikiki Shell where one of Korea's most famous violinists, Eugene Park, was performing on a violin made by David Scroggin. It was a rainy night, but the thousands of people at the concert were so taken by the sound of the violin that no one moved to get out of the rain. It was a most unforgettable experience. Almost as God's rain and the sound of the violin was making a perfect orchestra keeping the audience in awe. Later I found out that Nader Hoville purchased this same violin. I am shocked that the violin has ended up in the hands of someone who does not appreciate it.

David Scroggin is a real Stradivarius of our times. Very skillfull and talented violin maker with many years of expirience. He can take any instrument and make it a master peace. His wark is well known warldwide for making violins, restoring old masters rear instruments or fixing up an old fidle to make it sound like a magic wond just touched it. He takes great pride in his work and will always do more then he is paid for, it is just a perfactionist in him that would not do anything less.

We all need to lern from the great masters, and he is one of them. Offcourse, not all of us can be Mozarts, and some of us, sorry to say are Soleries, but if you happen to hear one of David Scroggin's violins play, make sure and listen for the note of ginius in the sound that is speaking to your soul.
