Lucy, the Nurse Practioner there ordered complete testing and discovered that my gall bladder was not functioning and helped me through a low fodmap diet to help my stomach issues and had the General Surgeon John Mazzucco remove my gall bladder....I had been to Baystate Gastro Specialists and the VA doctors, and various primary doctors who never were able to help me or find a diagnosis of the issue for 10 months, before I finally saw Lucy who immediately discovered the problem and also helped me with a new low fodmap diet to help my stomach work much better and ease my stomach issues until the gall bladder removal surgery....the entire staff at Holyoke Hospital were outstanding in every way. and resolved my 10 month issues that others could not...
