      Victoria Island Farms grows, packs and ships all of its own asparagus at its Holt, Calif., location. The asparagus is shipped to markets in California and across the United States, Europe and Asia. Victoria Islands asparagus is available from mid-February through mid-May annually, but the peak availability and quality are in March and April. The company packages its asparagus in 28-, 27-, 20- and 15-pound boxes, as well as a six-kilogram box. Most asparagus is bundled in 2.2-pound bundles. The firm will also custom pack its products. Victoria Island Farms provides a variety of information on its Web site including asparagus recipes and links to the California Asparagus Festival.
