- FibromyalgiaIt is safe to combine prolotherapy with other treatments; we can help you design a plan for optimum pain relief. (However, it should not be used concurrently with anti-inflammatory medications, such as ibuprofen, because they could interfere with prolotherapy’s effectiveness.) After carefully considering your circumstances and pain level, our team will let you know if we believe prolotherapy could benefit you.

- Labor and DeliveryThe period right before and after childbirth can be extremely taxing on a woman’s body, straining their back, knees, feet, and more. Becoming a parent is already a stressful experience, but we’re able to make things much easier by ensuring that musculoskeletal pain isn’t a factor. Because our approach is both drug and surgery-free, it’s perfect for expecting mothers, as our options are potent enough to deliver results while also being so gentle that the baby will be completely unaffected.
- Carpal Tunnel SyndromeA pinched or compressed nerve is the underlying source of a lot of musculoskeletal pain. This usually occurs in areas of the body where a nerve has to travel through a small space in the muscles. When these muscles become inflamed or injured, they can place pressure on the nerve, leading to stinging pain and/or numbness. Examples of this include common conditions like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and sciatica. With peripheral nerve hydrodissection, a liquid solution is injected around the distressed nerve, and it provides a cushion between it and the surrounding tissues, relieving the pressure to stop the cause of pain.
- UltrasoundMany musculoskeletal problems are difficult to diagnose because they are only apparent when the body is in motion. You can’t take an X-ray while someone is moving! But with diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound from our Fort Lauderdale, FL team, we can look at real-time images of what is going on inside a joint
- MRIYou can’t have an effective treatment without first getting a proper diagnosis. That’s why our team uses different types of diagnostic imaging, including x-ray, ultrasound imaging, MRI, etc...before recommending care. Musculoskeletal ultrasound allows us to see inside a joint while the body is moving, helping us identify the source of the problem more accurately. This, in turn, leads to more precise treatment and a better outcome for the patient.

- SciaticaEpidurals and facet injections are advanced techniques used for back pain management. Typically, Epidural Steroid Injections involve the use of one of three types of injections: transforaminal, interlaminar, or caudal. These all involve administering corticosteroids into the area over the dura mater, a thick membrane that surrounds and protects the spinal cord using fluoroscopic or ultrasound visualization. These injections have proven successful in addressing a variety of conditions, ranging from disc herniations and sciatica to stenosis and more.
- BotoxBOTOX injections. Strategically placed BOTOX injections can reduce the movement of muscles around the TMJs and allow them to relax. As a result, you may experience a large reduction in pain and other symptoms. BOTOX can last for several months at a time, and it is often used in combination with other treatments that aim to address the main cause of TMD.

There is a chance that you have calcific tendinitis (also called calcific tendonitis). Our Fort Lauderdale non-surgical orthopedics team is ready to assess the problem and recommend a treatment. We might advise you to undergo a procedure known as barbotage, which is possible thanks to precise musculoskeletal ultrasound. - Tennis ElbowPercutaneous Tenotomy may sound like a mouthful, but the treatment itself is actually fairly simple. For patients experiencing chronic pain in a joint due to an injured tendon (which can lead to conditions like Tennis elbow or Golfer’s elbow), Percutaneous Tenotomy uses ultrasound to remove the damaged tissue that is causing the discomfort and dysfunction. It can be adjusted so that only the compromised tissue is removed while the healthy tissue remains untouched, leading to an abatement of pain and full recovery within two to six weeks.
