Operational since 1967, Sheridan Park Elementary School offers learning opportunities for more than 675 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as music, art, science and physical education. The school offers the Title I program and operates a cafeteria. It has a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities. The school operates a media center that offers reference materials. It also operates a robotics club that focuses on project-based education. Sheridan Park Elementary School provides gifted and talented education classes. The school is a part of Broward County Public Schools, which operates human resources, instructional technology and safety departments. The district manages several elementary, middle and high schools.
