Debbie Douglass is a graduate of the University of Lowell in Massachusetts (U Mass Lowell), where she received her degree of Physical Therapy in 1981. She then relocated to Southern California where she practiced primarily in sports medicine for 18 years prior to moving to North Carolina. Having a special interest in the exercise philosophy known as Functional Movement, Debbie is certified as a Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Assessment Specialist. In addition to her clinical work, the past five years has brought opportunities for Debbie to work as a consultant for Corporate Wellness Programs as well as Local Municipal Employee Wellness Programs. Debbie joined Village Physical Therapy in 2013 and enjoys treating a wide range of conditions while being attentive to each of her patient’s specific needs.
