Wow! These folks helped me out with my parents in a way that really touched my heart. You can tell right away that it is a non-profit, as they put my parents in the center of all their recommendations...not trying to fit them into a particular spot that happens to be available.



Now, I have one parent in rehabilitation at the Resthaven Care Center and another at Maple Woods' Assisted Living. Soon, my father will complete rehabilitation and join my mother at Maple Woods. He has Alzheimer's, so will be moving into their new Memory Care area. Its ideal because my mother will be just around the corner in the regular Assisted Living part. They can be together when it's appropriate or by themselves, as they choose.



I can rest easily knowing that the wonderful folks who work at Resthaven are well-trained, and you can really tell that they have been "called" to help seniors. They say that people who move into a Resthaven community gain a whole new family, and I believe it. My "family" has expanded already.
