This hotel on the outskirts of KC in Oak Grove, MO, is an unassuming little place. The hotel is being remodeled and the parking area was under some construction. The hotel is located adjacent to I-70 Interstate, but the manager thoughtfully put us on the opposite side away from the Interstate since we were staying for an extended time. The staff was friendly and very thoughtful. One night my wife and I returned and were talking on the hands-free set up in the car. We sat there in the parking lot for about 5 minutes and the manager came out to see what was happening. Felt very safe there.

They carry sports equipment ranging from downhill snow skiing to wakeboarding to billiards (actually a billiards club is right next door, if you want to really get a game going). They are particularly known for their snow ski knowledge and can help pick out a perfect pair. They have sharpening and waxing services, so you dont need to pay the crazy resort prices.
